I just made my first French Bulletin Board also known as Ribbon Bulletin Board. Its was pretty easy to make and this will be a present for a 7 year old girl for her birthday. She asked for Hello Kitty things and as I could not find a nice Hello Kitty Fabric, I managed to find Hello Kitty Ribbons. Should I start selling them in future??? I hear they usually retail U$40.00.

Great work. How big is this board to be retailing for $40. If that is the case, you should consider selling.
beachlover, did your hubby glue the top to a regular screw?
cat, thanks. Yes, pink is always a safe color for girls.
ems, I did try other fabric but somehow simplicity is what I find elegance. I just added a few tiny items that made a lot of difference.
Judy, the size of this board is 21" x 30". I'll be making more of this as a present and see what kinda response I'll get from the recepients.
